It all started with a discussion about how difficult it was to buy quality loose tea and how fun it would be to have a tea shop. What came of that discussion was something we never expected. In September of 2007, my family and I opened kiosks at two malls around Novi, Michigan selling loose tea and tea accessories.  The kiosks were very successful and best of all, we made lots of friends.

It was up to me to decide what to do next. We put so much time and effort into building the Community Tea House brand that I didn’t want to give it up. So I decided to take my tea on the road by selling it to local bakeries, markets, restaurants and pastry shops.  Now you can find our high quality teas and accessories at six Hillers Markets, 44 Bed Bath & Beyond stores, our website and other stores listed on our location page.

Fast forward to 2009, Community Tea House took on two partners and in 2010 became distributors in the U.S. for the Finum Company carrying their full line of tea and coffee accessories.

Community Tea House carries a large and growing variety of loose leaf teas and accessories. Our goal is to provide our customers with the finest quality tea that tastes great.  We are always trying new flavors and blends to find something new and unique.
